The 1st Caneres Music Competition for Young Musicians will be held online from 15 August to 19 August 2022.

The closing date for applications is 14 August 2022 and all applicants will be informed if they have been accepted for the first round.

The competition is being held in the following subjects: piano; violin; viola; violoncello; double bass; guitar; harp; flute; oboe; clarinet; pan flute; bassoon; saxophone; French horn; trombone; tuba; soprano; mezzo; alto; contratenor; tenor; baritone; bass; conducting; composition.

The competition has four age groups: children under the age of 8; children under the age of 12; young musicians under the age of 18; musicians aged 18 and over. A maximum of 100 points are available for scoring.
